Telling Our Stories: Breaking the Mold, Taking Risks, Paving the Way
In the church and in entrepreneurial ministries, in the workplace, at home, and in centers of power all over, the experience of being a woman is both a joy and a struggle. We gather to share our stories of ministry, to cultivate new strategies for ministry, to support and celebrate women in leadership at all levels, both lay and ordained.
Connect with women in diverse ministries from around the world, raise your voice in solidarity with all women struggling to find a voice in society today, respond anew to God’s call to all people to minister in Christ’s name.
The Rev. Dr. Katie G. Cannon, the first African American woman ordained in what is now the PC(USA). Her work focuses in womanist theology, and women in religion and society.
